No matter what your sexual orientation, gender identity, or how you structure your relationships, having a financial plan is something you deserve. If you are LGBTQ+, you face different challenges than heterosexuals. From naming your same-sex partner on taxes or financial documents to the ability to count on family for help when you need it to coping with homophobia in our culture, your planning needs are different – just like you, and that is fabulous!

A 2016-2017 study outlines the LGBTQ+ community’s attitudes, concerns, and strengths when it comes to your finances. In a world where prejudice and discrimination still exist, as a financial advisor, I must be considerate of both the emotional impact this will have, as well as the impact it could have on your personal bottom line. Ensuring you live within your means, spend and save accordingly, and create a sound plan for the life you and your partner(s) want to live is critical, both as you live your life currently, and as you want to live it in the future. My team and I are open, accepting, and here to help answer your questions and provide guidance throughout your life.
